Buzz

Daily buzz

Buzz is an indicator on how satisfied customers are with the player's restaurant, including previous events, choice of menu and some other variables. It is represented by a percentage. Even though the tutorial states it's a number between 0% and 100%, it can go over 100%, although in the Daily Buzz screen it will just say MAX Buzz.

There is no default buzz, because buzz is calculated adding all the active boosters and substracting all the active detractors. A booster may be sometimes called positive buzz, and a detractor may be sometimes called negative buzz.

Maxbuzz

102% Buzz translates to Max Buzz on the Daily Buzz screen.

Buzz has a major role in the game as it sets the flow of customers the player's restaurant receives. With a 15% buzz, for instance, there will be a long gap between customers showing up. On the other hand, a 100% buzz will make the delay between orders really small, as it happens during rush hours. In the same way, if the buzz is at 125%, there will be less customers coming in the rush hours than in normal time.

There is a special kind of buzz called "Flex buzz". As opposed to normal buzz, Flex buzz is only active during certain conditions, such as a certain time of day or a particular weather. Note that Flex buzz does not even out. If the menu has one food with Morning Aroma (which gives -5% flex buzz during morning hours) and another one with the Breakfast booster (which gives +5% flex buzz during morning hours), it will not show 0% flex buzz, but -5%/+5%.
